Engineering Development and Project: - Responsible for meeting Department’s Project specification which need to Carry out detailed mechanical design work include 3D modelling simulation and design verification (physical in-house testing) as required. Include Mechanical part selection and standardizing it based on material obsolescence, availability, and cost. - Responsible for preparing and presenting designs to his superior prior for management review. With the inclusion of highlighting all technical risk on the design. - Responsible to carry out a design change and standardizing design when deemed necessary (e.g.: concept design, components, jigs, and fixtures) - Responsible to coordinate and liaise with relevant internal / external PIC’s to prepare drawings / tooling / manuals needed to ensure products are manufactured as per design expectation in a timely manner. - Responsible for checking drawings and validating designs prior for presenting to superior.
