JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Source and identify qualified suppliers in Malaysia. 2. Update account managers of potential suppliers. 3. Seeking, contacting, visiting, negotiating, follow up with qualified suppliers. 4. Obtain and collate supplier company profile and basic information. 5. Coordinate sampling and development of products by working closely with Engineering department 6. Tracking & updating daily sourcing progress. 7. Summarizing regular reports to supervisor. 8. Researching for new industry opportunities and expanding supplier base in Malaysia and neighboring countries in Asia. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor degree in any field. • Minimum 1 year working experience in merchandising. • Self-started, must be able to work unsupervised and generate report on daily/weekly/monthly basis. • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin). • Proficient in Word, Excel, PPT, email and other office software. • Good interpersonal skill, analytical and problem-solving skills. • Understanding mechanical drawings is an advantage. • Knowledge of import/export documents. • Knowledge of shipping is preferable. • Pleasant, hardworking and responsible. • Become familiar with and follow the Source One operating procedures manual. • Must be able to travel outstation with short notice. • Selected candidate will be required to go to China for training for two weeks prior to commencement of work. Commencement date: 01/09/2025.
